Workshop Spotlight: Lesson Planning 101 with Team First, Inc.
Educator Empowerment Center recently partnered with Community-Based Organization, Team First, Inc., to deliver a dynamic Lesson Planning 101 workshop for their dedicated Activity Advisors. This two-day interactive session focused on equipping advisors with the foundational tools and strategies needed to design engaging, purposeful, and student-centered activities.

Participants explored the key components of effective lesson planning—including setting clear objectives, aligning activities with outcomes, and incorporating reflection and assessment. By the end of the workshop, advisors walked away with practical templates, planning frameworks, and a renewed confidence in delivering meaningful learning experiences that align with their program goals.
